Diagnosis of Vascular Malformations
A physiological type of diagnosis is usually made initially with duplex doppler ultrasound.
To assess the anatomical extent of the malformation an MRI – Magnetic Resonance Imaging or a CT – Computed Tomography is performed to give an anatomical picture.
